According to a report by Statistics Canada, over 5.8 million people in Canada live in food-insecure households. A 2021 survey of Canadian households identified financial barriers as a leading contributor to the limited access to high-quality, nutritious food.
As a result, many Canadians lack key vitamins and nutrients like calcium, iron, and dietary fiber. As many as 87% of consumers reported not meeting minimum daily nutrient requirements - leading to serious health consequences such as diabetes, vision impairment, and immune deficiency.
Nupacko cookies are packed with protein, high in fiber, and use whole ingredients like kale and chia seeds to make a real impact.
A message from OUR founding team
We started Nupacko because we saw a significant gap in the market for healthy and delicious snacks. Many snacks prioritized taste over health or were marketed as healthy but lacked nutritional diversity or quality.
Then, we noticed a growing awareness among younger consumers about the importance of making nutritious choices, but there weren't enough options to meet these demands; either due to limited access or low food literacy.
This led to the inspiration to create Nupacko, an all-in-one snack brand that helps kids receive essential calories and nutrients they need to fuel their continued growth.

Nupacko is paving the way for combating food insecurity through a nutritious snack via an affordable snack.
Compared to common snacks like nutrient bars, our snack is packed with more calories and essential nutrients which will make it simple and convenient to contribute to daily nutrient requirements with our biscuits.
